  1. Ingredients:

    1 Package (500g) Beirut Leaf ¨Chiotakis¨

    200 g Almond coarse - ground

    150 g Dairy Butter (melted)

    Ingredients for syrup:

    300 g Sugar

    200 g of water

    1 tsp. tablespoon of grated lemon

    Preparation of syrup:

    Boil the sugar, water and lemon until it thickens. Let it cool down.

    Implementation:

    Spread the sheets of Beirut ¨Chiotakis¨ in two pieces and butter them.

    Place the almond and wrap the Beirut ¨Chiotakis¨ leaves in a cylindrical shape.

    Cut each piece to the size you want.

    Place them in the pan and butter them with the remaining butter.

    Bake at 170 °C until golden brown for about 30 minutes.

    Taking them out of the oven, pour the cold syrup over them.
